Christy Leather Hobo

This bag checked all the boxes for me for what I had been looking for for a while, or so I thought. The leather is soft, it has a zip top which is a must for me, I loved the hardware and the size and the comfort on the shoulder was perfect. AND it was made in Italy - so the description said. It was ordered online and after I received it and was starting to put my belongings into it, I read the tag which is buried down in one of the compartments and saw the MADE IN CHINA on it. How extremely disappointing and very misrepresented! I immediately returned it to the store. According to the woman at the register, she has never run across this issue before.

I've carried a longchamp le pliage as my every day bag for almost ten years. It's practical, but I was tired of it and was looking to replace it with a nicer leather bag. I didn't want a bag covered in logos, and I wanted something similar in size and shoulder drop to the le pliage, with a full zip closure. I looked forever, and finally found this bag. It feels very well made, with solid hardware and a high-quality zipper. I had been looking at bags that were much more expensive that still didn't check all the boxes, and am very happy to have found this bag.
