Five Waterproof Chelsea Boot (Women)

How lucky am I to be able to wear such beautiful boots? These are waterproof leather with a glint (I wavered about getting these in silver). The color is amazing, comfort supreme, warm, easy to put on and wear, and so ‘now’ with just enough ‘clunk’ and height! Thank You Nordstrom for these perfect offerings!!!

Great, surprisingly well made waterproof boot for the price. They were on sale. Made in Portugal. They are lined with a soft thin layer of plush for warmth. The platform and rounded toe give it a bit of funk, but not over the top. They fit true to size and so far are comfortable, but I have not worn them outside yet. I got the magenta/ black color and although the magenta appears bright online, it is subtle and almost looks black. Definitely more interesting than the back/black choice. Easy on and off with the zipper and the fabric collar is comfortable around the leg.

These boots look great and seem really well made. My only issue is I find them to run pretty large - they slip a bit on my feet. I am usually a 8.5 to 9.0 in women’s shoes and started with the 40 which were huge and got the 39. The 39 still slip a little when I walk but that may be due to the heavy lug sole with the fabric too which doesn’t have a lot of structure. But they look so cool that I am keeping them, and the footbed and upper is super comfy.
