Not worth it
I had no clue that the gold is wrapped around plastic ropes. I asked my Jeweler to make it smaller and when de did the gold frayed off the plastic. So there is no way to make this bracelet smaller without damaging the core. However, he did his best to fix it for me and the gold still pokes out of the mesh in different spots and pokes my skin. I wish I could go back and not have purchased this bracelet.

pretty but very delicate
I fell in love with this bracelet upon seeing it online. However once received, I felt it was way too delicate in its craftsmanship. It is very, very lightweight and difficult to put on. I suppose I had expectations of the 'ropes' being somewhat more substantial than they are. I fear their 'tin foil' delicacy makes for a piece which will unfortunately not endure.

Will not stand the test of time even at this price
These are so flimsy you can pinch them flat between your thumb and index finger. Pretty, but know I’d be really upset if I accidentally smushed them and couldn’t repair them because the mesh cannot be rewoven. This is an item that I feel is much better suited to costume jewelry. Not worth the fine-jewelry price.
