Good for walking the dog in Pacific Northwest
I need a good shoe for walking the dog. I'm very pleased with these shoes. It's comfortable for 2-3 miles (maybe more, haven't tried anything longer). I normally wear a 10 and these just fit -- I can only wear one pair of socks (no extras for cold days). These have great traction -- they did well on slippery wood bridges and other wet surfaces. The Bogs Sweetpea Chelsea (bought last year) were too slippery (really poor in snow) so they are used for errands and about town instead. Also, I find these more comfortable than the Sweetpea. They also work well with both shorts and pants.
