Sauvie Chelsea Painterly Waterproof Boot (Women)

It’s always a challenge to find shoes that fit when they don’t come in half sizes. These Sauvie Chelsea waterproof boots surprisingly fit me well enough that I will keep them. The trim on one foot rubs against my ankle a bit, but I attribute that to the shoes being new out of the box. I can wear thin socks to start out with. I am a true size 9.5 and purchased these in size 9. The toe box is wide enough that my toes are not squished. Putting them on requires hands, so they are not slip ons. The size 10 might be easier to put on but would’ve been too roomy for my skinny feet. I plan on using these boots in the garden even if they are not slip ons. I have other garden clogs but don’t like getting my feet wet and muddy. They also look pretty enough that I can wear them running errands.
