BodySmootHers Girdle Top Shaper Pantyhose

I didn’t realize these had a built in girdle, thought I was just getting traditional control top. Getting them on was like wresting an alligator but once on they were very effective. I’m 5’9 and 160 lbs so I ordered a large. I almost could’ve gone a size up. The max weight on the size was 180 so I would say if you’re close to the top or the range to size up. The biggest issue was the lack of durability. I’m a trial attorney and I wore these for closing arguments. I had 2 snags in two different places that immediately went from zero to 100. I ended up asking a female judge for scissors and cut off the hose but kept the girdle because I was wearing a dress that required some smoothing. Overall, I don’t recommend, but gave 2 stars instead of 1 because I don’t know if the snags were coming from something sharp at counsel table that I didn’t realize was there or something. But still, for the price, I would have expected more durability.

This fit as expected per the size chart, and the Honey color works for me, but that giant seam up the front ruins your look. Wore these to a ball with a dress that fit but wasn’t at all tight, and this giant seam was so obvious. I would have taken the tights off, but I had decided not to wear undies. So I spent the whole night trying to suck it in and make the seam less noticeable. You might be able to get away with these if wearing a very loose dress or very thick fabric, but otherwise I do not recommend.
