Boce Wedge Bootie (Women)

The picture does not reflect the Fly London boot that I purchased. I purchased the same boot as show but in graphite and it is not patent leather. I purchased same boot twice and both times the piping along the top of the sole, was defective. It had a place that was not all together and a gap in between where the end met the beginning of the piping. I couldn't see paying over $200 for a Fly London shoe and it look that way. I have several pairs and they are still one of my top go-to brands, but, will stay away from that particular style ordering online. Possibly I can find this shoe in a local retail store and purchase them if they are not defective.

This boot is very cute. However, it is not as comfortable as other booties I have by Fly London, in particular Byrn style. Unfortunately, the zipper was a little bit miss aligned on this pair as well. And it didn't have as much padding in footbed. Therefore, I would only get minimal use out of them and the zipper issue forces a return. I was sad as I like the higher top at the ankle and front zipper styling.

I cannot explain how thrilled I am to have a fun bootie in my larger size! I'm almost 6' and wear a 10.5 -- it's a tough size to find and usually the options are classic (which is fine) rather than fun (nice to shake things up once in awhile). These are super comfortable, and the leather is very soft. I love the way it hugs my ankles for a bit of support and shape. The color is deep green. This pic seems to hint at a patent leather, but it's really just very deep, forest green and lovely. The zipper is hopefully sturdy enough, and I like the toggle on it. Cannot wait to wear them out!
