Simply gorgeous colors!

I've never gotten so excited by eye shadows before. Seriously. I went looking for Bobbi Brown "Woodrose" eyeshadow to replace the one I've had for 15 years that's down to dust (I just rediscovered it in my drawer recently and it's a fabulous color!). But, it's hard to find. Then I found this palette of which Woodrose is a part. I figured it was only twice as expensive as the single anyway, and I'd get a couple more colors I could play with. Seemed worth it. Well, let me tell you - this whole palette is amazing! The way these colors compliment each other - this is true artistry! I have green eyes and used to have lots of freckles and a reddish hue to my brunette hair before it turned salt and pepper, and these colors really, really work on me. So happy with this purchase!

Disappointed

I have been looking for the Twilight eyeshadow and the Bahama Brown brown blush that both came in palettes in the Desert Twilight collection of 2010 or 2011!! That Eyeshadow was the only color. besides the base, that I used from that palette and I loved it. I have purchased so many BB palettes because they seem to be discontinuing their single eyeshadow colors, in hopes of finding or mixing this color! Imagine how thrilled I was to see that it was back in a small palette! Unfortunately, the Twilight color in this palette is nothing like the previous version. It is a very light bronze color. All colors in this palette have very little pigmentation, and use without a primer is almost worthless! I was soooooooo disappointed. I have to start looking for other brands, because my loyalty to this brand has cost me a lot of money and the constant release of new and expensive palettes and constant discontinuation of good, reliable products is costly and exhausting! I don't understand the good reviews, I found these colors to range from a little warm to extremely cool and, even if they had pigmentation, could only have found a use for 2 of them!

Fundamental

I got the Blush Nudes palette. The quality is very similar to her other recent palettes like the Golden slipper and modern symphony. Although this palette is very basic and may even seem boring, I was pleasantly surprised by how the eye looks had turned out. Quick and easy (under 5 minutes), wearable and elegant. Perfect neutrals!

I got the Stonewashed Nudes palette- it's the perfect, soft palette for everyday, but it also has the option of looking more glam. The mattes are beautifully blendable and the shimmers are eye-catching while still being soft and very wearable. It doesn't lean warm OR cold- it's really a true "neutral" palette.

fallout galore

I’m so disappointed; even with a primer these don’t stay put. The sparkle is fun but not when it’s all over your cheeks an hour after putting it on. Sorry, Bobbi, this one is a miss.

Bobbi Brown doesn't live her anymore

This is a great palette. For those who are disappointed with Bobbi, herself, she left the company years ago. Google her and you'll find the story. Otherwise, I'm enjoying the palette. No complaints.
