Real Nudes Eyeshadow Palette

I've never gotten so excited by eye shadows before. Seriously. I went looking for Bobbi Brown "Woodrose" eyeshadow to replace the one I've had for 15 years that's down to dust (I just rediscovered it in my drawer recently and it's a fabulous color!). But, it's hard to find. Then I found this palette of which Woodrose is a part. I figured it was only twice as expensive as the single anyway, and I'd get a couple more colors I could play with. Seemed worth it. Well, let me tell you - this whole palette is amazing! The way these colors compliment each other - this is true artistry! I have green eyes and used to have lots of freckles and a reddish hue to my brunette hair before it turned salt and pepper, and these colors really, really work on me. So happy with this purchase!

I have been looking for the Twilight eyeshadow and the Bahama Brown brown blush that both came in palettes in the Desert Twilight collection of 2010 or 2011!! That Eyeshadow was the only color. besides the base, that I used from that palette and I loved it. I have purchased so many BB palettes because they seem to be discontinuing their single eyeshadow colors, in hopes of finding or mixing this color! Imagine how thrilled I was to see that it was back in a small palette! Unfortunately, the Twilight color in this palette is nothing like the previous version. It is a very light bronze color. All colors in this palette have very little pigmentation, and use without a primer is almost worthless! I was soooooooo disappointed. I have to start looking for other brands, because my loyalty to this brand has cost me a lot of money and the constant release of new and expensive palettes and constant discontinuation of good, reliable products is costly and exhausting! I don't understand the good reviews, I found these colors to range from a little warm to extremely cool and, even if they had pigmentation, could only have found a use for 2 of them!
