What it is: A fresh, lightweight face primer that refreshes and smoothes skin for makeup application, leaving a cool, breathable finish.
Why it's different: It extends the quality of your foundation's wear while controlling oil, blurring pores and helping to keep skin's moisture level balanced. Skin is left matte, never flat. Special powder technology absorbs oil and reduces the appearance of pores, while sodium hyaluronate helps keep skin's moisture level balanced.
How to use: After cleansing and moisturizing, smooth the primer onto skin, avoiding the eye area. Use before applying your foundation.

glides on smoothly , hides large pores
Love this product -- goes on super smooth; creates a thin, balanced skin covering. When paired with my Bobbi Brown foundation, my uneven skin is transformed to appear years younger. Primer is unscented; like a matt-gel; Wears well with no residual product left on skin. Maintains foundation coverage for 18 hours easily.

Rubs off in little balls right away
The older I get, the more oily my skin becomes so I've been trying long lasting matte products up and down the block. Not only is my skin already shiny before I even leave the house, but during the application process this product rolls into small balls on my skin and falls right off my face when I attempt to add foundation on top. I've tried several different tricks (applying and waiting 30 min to apply makeup, patting on my foundation instead of rubbing, using smaller amounts, etc. etc.) and no matter what the same outcomes applies. Will not be buying again.

Gritty
I think it does help with the oiliness but I do not like the texture. It has a gritty feeling and tends to roll up as you are rubbing it on. I was really disappointed. I won't buy again.

Waste of money, residuals and residuals
This product is ridiculous for me. Every time I apply it onto my skin, I have residuals show up. I was thinking if it is because I have applied too much, or due to my skincare routine or my makeup tools or my foundation, so I changed many different combinations but it still performed like this. Finally, I found out these residuals can still appear when I apply it to my hand, or even just a table! I guess this awful performance is due to too many copolymer ingredients.

BB Primer + Mattifier: Perfect Primer
Lightweight primer glides on and dries down smooth, reduces oily look. This is great during summer heat but works well year round with any foundation. My skin is combination to dry, and I rotate foundations and primer, depending on climate, season, mood. This works well.

No more shines!
Now that we are staying at home a lot, I recently started noticing how my forehead used to shine by the afternoon when I was taking video calls. I have mixed skin, which does get oily in the T-zone area. I now apply this in my daily makeup routine and my skin looks better throughout the day. I also like that you can apply this on top of makeup to mattify the skin on areas I feel needs a touch up.
