Long-Wear Waterproof Gel Eyeliner

I just finished a jar of Chanel’s gel liner, which I really like, so I’m going to compare them here. I’m comparing the Black color in both. Chanel’s draws a starker line. That is, there is more pigment in their formula, so it is a deeper black. Bobbi still draws a very black line, but it is a bit less dark. If you’re looking for a more subtle line, try Bobbi’s Caviar, or one of her other shades, it anyway, that’s one difference. Chanel is more expensive, but then again, you get more. This may seem like a good thing, but—and big caveat here— it does dry out before you finish the jar. You can thin it with eye drops, but even if you have done that, it contains a few frustrating flakes. Bobbi’s formula remains smooth throughout th3 whole jar and does no dry out. Bobbi is less expensive. Both draw a smooth line—no skipping—but Bobbi is more manageable. When you first open the Chanel, it is REALLY messy. Bobbi’s is neater and easier to use, so if you have anything less than an expert hand, go with Bobbi. That’s about it! Both Chanel and Bobbi are excellent, top-of-the-line gel liners—best on the market, IMO—and you can’t really go wrong with either. I will probably switch off. I hope Nordstrom will publish this review! And I hope at least somebody finds it helpful.
