Long-Wear Even Finish SPF 15 Foundation

I went into Nordstrom for the BB Cream and left with this product! The BB cream was not available for darker complexions so the specialist told me about this. I have oily skin so I'm VERY leery of products that claim to beat the heat. She applied it a little thick for my taste but my husband still liked the end result after I got home. The next day, I put it on using a brush and only used 1 1/2 'squirts'. It provided a great level of coverage (medium) and to my surprise, lasted all day! It is hot, humid and rainy here in Florida so I was very nervous about going out to lunch and returning to the building. I did blot once (maybe because I'm use to doing that) but it never felt heavy or sticky on my skin. I am a true Bobbi Brown fan and this is definitely another permanent product in my make up bag!! Thanks Bobbi!! By the way: I am African American and I usually wear Warm Almond 6.5 in the winter and Almond 7 in the summer.

Okay, so being a HUGE Bobbi Brown fan, of course I had to buy this as soon as I could get my hands on it. Also being someone with Normal to Oily combination skin, finding something that strikes the right balance of hydration and lasting coverage has always been hard to find in an oil free liquid foundation. But boy when Bobbi created this she really out did herself. I have used her other foundation Natural Finish (now discontinued) and Skin Foundation. Both had their own great properties, but not the lasting flawless medium coverage. Truth be told, I could get away with wearing a tinted moisturizer, as I have great skin. But I love the polished look medium coverage gives. The foundation is everything I wanted it to be. It wears ALL day long without rubbing off on cloths and my cell phone while covering the redness I have in my cheeks without looking "made up" or "over done". This foundation also doesn't oxides either. As stated above, having combination skin requires having the right moisturizer underneath my foundation. I tried the Vitamin Enriched Face Base which for me worked out the best as my cheeks are dryer and added enough hydration to my tzone without making it any oilier. This hides my pores and gives an amazing clean fresh look to the skin. I feel like this foundation will work for most age groups with combo/oily skin and it also doesn't settle into lines or wrinkles for the mature group out there who are curious about this makeup. I use "Warm Sand 2.5" and the creamy concealer kit in "Sand" over all I'm VERY happy with this and wouldn't change a thing. In fact I just may have to buy another bottle soon so that I'm never without it!

I tried this foundation after reading that the Duchess of Cambridge used it as her favorite- I can see why she likes it--I chose cool beige, matched my skin tone very well. Covers smoothly small imperfections, but I didn't feel like it was heavy makeup. Felt creamy, smooth, and evened out my complexion without feeling too greasy or too matte- a natural look. Not so sure of the long lasting part, I do have to touch up with pressed powder several times a day. But I did get a compliment from my husband- "You look pretty!"--so that's good enough for me.

I really like Bobbi Brown's liquid foundation. I bought this one because it promised Lasting Even all-day coverage. I can say that after a week it really does. It gives a little more coverage than the regular Bobbi Brown foundation. I seems a little thicker. I am African- American with medium brown skin. My color is Warm Almond. It really helps me even out my skin tone. I have lighter patches on my cheeks and it works well to blend my color.

I was on the hunt for a new foundation after using mac for quite a while but was having horrible breakouts from it. I sampled just about every foundation at every counter in the store when my friend who worked at Bobbi insisted that I try this formula because I have such oily skin. I tried it with the moisturizer and bronzer and it looked very pretty when they first applied it at the counter sooo I thought if give it a shot. I tried wearing it for the next week with every combination you can think of, tried several different moisturizers a primer and loose powders but after an hour or so it would settle and get super oily. I also noticed that it came off on EVERYTHING which was a huge switch from my last foundation. Plus the formula was sooo heavy on I felt like I was wearing so much on my skin and took a lot to blend it in. I really wanted to love it but it just wasn't a good fit for my oily skin. :(

After using several foundations... (Tarte Amazonian Clay was directly before this) I finally found a product that I don't have to think twice about. Im a bit of a makeup snob... I've tried every foundation that is produced, from drugstore to Chanel and other luxery brands. I can say without question this product and Makeup Is Forever HD foundation are the absolute finest. First of all, just as the product description on the packaging says this product " Looks like skin". It blends perfectly, covers every flaw from blemishes to dark spots and freckles without being heavy! The lady at the makeup counter in the Roseville Galleria here in Cali REALLLLLLY helped me out and recommened this product (Even though she was a sales rep for a different brand..whoops! hah) Safe to say... I wasn't dissappointed. There will always be negative/ possitive reviews for any product as everyone has different skin types.. But I say there is no CON to trying this product as Nordstrom has an amazing return policy. It can't hurt to try!
