Long-Wear Cream Shadow

I love these so much, I bought several. You definitely need a lid primer with any shadow. These do last all day. I was at a picnic, sweating in the 98 degree weather to come home and sweat some more in the garden and myshadow didn't budge. Some colors are more shimmer than others. I don't particularly like Sandy Gold and Shore are too light and shimmery. Beach Bronze can look a little overdone and is very bronzy..again, not a favorite. Heather and Malted are nice soft colors. Cement is a perfect lid color and Slate is my favorite crease color. I like a softer look and the non-shimmery ones do just that. I wear the Cement and Slate with theviolet gel liner and the Malted and Stone with the navy eyeliner. Hope this helps someone. Overall, stay away from the shimmer colors. These are very long lasting!

Wanted a long wearing shade that was nude in color so on the days I am in jeans and t's but still want to have coverage on my lids I can use this option. Bought the 'Shore' color, which is matte (did not want any shine). Also purchased the BB Cream Shadow brush for application and it works like a dream. I marked the bottom of this product with a date 4 months from date of purchase so I remember to throw it out and replace with fresh. Cream shadow stays on ALL DAY and very easy to remove at night with basic eye makeup remover. Really like the coverage--doesn't look like I am wearing eye shadow, but at least takes the redness out of my eye lids. Makes my whole face look brighter without anything too obvious.

I purchased the Stone. I was looking for a color that complimented and brought out the blue in my eyes. I read several reviews that stated how they found this eyeshadow so great for their coloring, which is just like mine. However, no one mentioned the name of the color they found that they loved. People, please don't forget to mention the name of the color that you loved so much I do not think that the color Stone was the best for me. It is okay, tho'. However, I must tell you that I wore it to the gym and was so tired that evening I forgot to wash my face. In the a.m., the color was still on my eyes altho' not quite as deep. The thing that truly amazed me was that there was NO creasing after all that. I would definitely buy this again and would like a suggestion for my coloring.

I have a medium-fair complexion with a lot of red under the skin. I've had oily lids all my life--the good part is that crinkles don't give away my age (65+), but the sad part is that I've chased eye shadows forever, hoping to find one that stayed at least till 3 PM. I am now a faithful user of "Shore" because it lays down a nearly undetectable soft flesh tone that disappears on my skin and stays till 10 PM or later. I usually add a subtle dusting of a color close to my lashes, like olive green, beige, or dusky purple. This way, I can play with colors but know that the oil barrier is there for the day. I tried "Bone" for a brighter look, but it seemed quite dry and dragged during application. I was told by one of the Nordstrom experts that different pigments can cause that. Several other reviewers made similar comments. Shore works fine, so I'm sticking with it forever!

This shadow dries up quickly in this little jar. Yes, I close it tightly. I've purchased 3 jars of the same color,..they dry up so much you can't get it out of the jar. Applying it on the lids,..unless you have lineless lids, it makes them look bad,..as bad as shimmer shadow, but drier. It flakes because it's so dry. This wouldn't be bad stuff if it just stayed creamy,..but it get's to be more like hard putty.
