Extra Nourishing Vitamin E Face Oil

I am 54 and have been using skin care products since I was in junior high school. This face oil is the best thing ha ever tried. If the sales person told me it would be this good, I would have been skeptical because I get leary of skin care product promises. Well not this time. I started using this product from a sample while I was undergoing chemotherapy last year. Even though most of me looked terrible, my facial skin looked amazing. Really! During chemo, no less! I now purchase it and use it every day and have switched all of my skin care to Bobbi Brown products. I get compliments on my skin regularly without mentioning anything about skin care. I tell everyone I know how great this product is!

Ok, so I am 45 yrs old. I’d say I’m probably starting to transition into perimenopause. My skin has been so dry (common for peri/menopause) and our weather here in Southern California has not helped. I was using another face oil that was good! But decided to comeback to Bobbi Brown. Listen. I know the price is hefty. But it’s worth it. I’m telling you. Buy it. I take very good care of my skin. Double cleanse. Zinc/Mineral sunscreen even on cloudy rainy days! This product is hands down my #1. Ok, so a little goes a long way: just dab your fingers on the top without flipping the bottle! Trust me. The way this bottle is designed tends to spill the oil over a bit so be very careful. The leftover in your lid or on the top of the hole area is plenty. I would say I want them to change the design but I’m scared they will change the product so please don’t ever change it lol. So ya just a little goes a long ways. You will wake up with such moist skin. I do tend to have minor breakouts once a month (adult acne/hormones) and this does not break me out or irritate my skin. I always buy a bottle when it goes on sale so keep an eye out if it goes on sale. Also, you can use Afterpay if you don’t mind not getting points on your Nordy Card (I still have the debit Nordy Card) so it’s not such a hit in your wallet. I know times can be hard but if your skin feels and looks amazing those hard times feel a little better LOL #thestruggle I posted a non filter pic to get an idea of my skin type.

I have dry skin being on an OBAGI regimen and I was hoping this would work with my moisturizer. My skin stayed moisturized for maybe an hour and then my skin was dry again. Maybe others with combination or not so dry skin would like this. The bottle is pretty and minimalist, but there should be directions about how to apply this expensive oil without wasting it. Usually oils and serums have special applicators like a dropper or are is in squeeze bottles but this is a little ridiculous. There was so much waste. I had to return it after 1 use because I didn't want to try that hard for something that didn't work ... and I love Nordstrom and don't want to take advantage of their return policy.
