skin reborn!
I was introduced to this product over a year ago and now make it a part of my skincare routine. It is recommended for use twice a week. I normally mix a small amount in with my face cleaner after I shower. I can feel it working especially around the forehead circumferance. I then follow through with my toner and moisturizer before I begin my makeup. It lasts a long time. I only recently purchased my first replacement. I would truly recommend this product since it is very important to have dead skin cells removed for a fresher feel and appearance.

Microplastics as #1 ingredient
I came online to reorder Buffing Grains and was disappointed to learn that not only does this product contain polythene (microplastic), but it is the most plentiful ingredient! Bobbi Brown - you must know that microplastics are a major environmental concern for our waterways. My bad for not checking ingredients the first time I purchased - I was fooled by the label that implies that it is Azuki Bean Powder (not to mention the high cost considering this is mostly plastic!). I have been a BB lover for many years and am not trying to decide if I should find another make-up company completely. I believe you can do better.

Versatile product, may be too harsh for some
This is a great idea. You can add this to virtually any product or use it alone. I've tried it mixed with my regular face wash and added to moisturizer and a masque.
It definitely does exfoliate well and works well on dry, flakey patches of skin that come with winter.
The only reasons it doesn't get five stars from me is 1) the price (a bit pricey for buffing grains) and 2) the grains themselves are hard enough to be harsh for sensitive or thin skin types. I find that if I'm not careful around my cheeks, I have very reddened skin for hours afterwards. I have not had that experience with any other manual, grain type exfoliator.
Otherwise, it's a great product and worth trying.

The Only Face Scrub You Need
I have combination skin that is prone to breakouts, especially from face scrubs. I also tend to have dull skin. With that being said,
I have been on the look out for the perfect face scrub for years, and I have come close a time or two. Many times the particles in the scrub are good, but the actual cream that they come in is not. The buffing grains are the perfect answer. I use them with my favorite cleanser (MAC green gel) and I could not be happier. I wish I had known about this product a long time ago. I will absolutely purchase this product again and will be giving it as gifts to my friends.

I rarely give five starts to a product but this one is just wonderful and deserves it. It is a good sized jar for using about 1 1/4 teaspoon of the product when you use it with a cleanser. I have sensitive skin and anything abrasive makes my face and neck area red and irritated - the buffing grains were effective and gentle enough that my face was smooth, all the dead skin removed and no redness or irritation! I highly recommend this product. If you are wondering about the price - it will last a year or longer and never goes bad. WELL WORTH the cost!! Less than $2 a month for daily renewed and baby soft glowing skin! HIGHLY recommend.

Love
I think as every woman gets older, she is concerned of her overall looks, yes, we are a tad bit vain, we will admit we go through the emotional changes, more so than men, the good part of the older age process if you will, is when you can find a product that holds up to their name and actually works, I love Bobbi Brown, buffing grains, it creates a smoothness, and helps with morning dull skin, and puffiness, it is affordable and I will order over and over again as my newest and lifetime exfoliant for my face, after all you only have one, take care of it.

Great product
I have used 'buffing' products in the past with mixed results. The Bobbi Brown product is so much better than anything I have tried. I like that I can mix my own proportions. I use a VERY small amount (probably 1/8 teaspoon) and mix with BB face cleanser - my face feels great when I wash it off. I have not noticed any drying effect so for now, I am a fan.
