Game Changer

I first want to preface this review by saying I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS! But the Bobbi Brown BB Cream has literally been a game changer for me. I recently gave birth to my daughter and my pregnancy took a serious toll on my skin. i was left with even oilier skin than before, hyper-pigmentation and acne. I was using Bare Minerals and because my skin became so oily, the powder would go on the correct color and quickly turn very orange once it oxidized. Not cool. My skin looked dirty and I was constantly trying to fix it which ended up making it worse. I went to Nordstrom and the Bobbi Brown consultant was AMAZING! She hooked me up with the blemish concealer stick and the BB Cream. I've only been using the two for a week and my skin looks amazing! The BB Cream oxidizes to the perfect shade. It goes on matte AND STAYS MATTE! Even with my oily skin. I dont think they intended on it, but the BB Cream has helped clear up my acne and reduced redness/discoloration. I haven't felt like I had a "fresh" face in months and I finally have that feeling again! Absolutely an amazing product. I would buy this for everyone I know that has oily skin or any acne/acne scaring or redness. It has worked wonders for me. THANK YOU BOBBI BROWN!

Be cautious with this product

I too was looking for something with more SPF in it, but this is not it. It went on like spackle for me, and within a week of using it my skin was all broken out. I have not had any problems with any other of the Bobbi Brown products so at first I was confused why my skin was so bad. Since discontinuing using it, and going back to the tinted moisturizer, my skin has returned to its normal state. I had high hopes for this product but can't wait to find something else to use in its stead.

Tinted Moisturizer Better

I just can't seem to get down with the BB cream craze. I've tried some over the counter (Revlon, L'Oreal, Almay), I've tried some of my friend's that came straight from Korea, and I've tried Clinique's and now Bobbi Brown's. Truth be told, it isn't for me. Here's my skin: Caucasian, light/light medium, breakouts every now and then and a few minor scars. I live something that will cover up my flaws, but not make me look "cakey" (as you may have already guessed- I'm not a fan of MAC). I prefer a dewy finish, but with decent coverage. I heard BB creams do this exact thing, but I suppose I haven't met my match. If you experience the same thing, my recommendation is to go with Bobbi's Tinted Moisturizer. Actually, its the best foundation I've come across in a long time. It handles like a foundation, but doesn't give my skin a matte look. If you are having trouble spots, get the foundation stick with it. All in all, if you like BB cream then I'm sure this is a great product. Personally, I would rather opt for the tinted moisturizer.

Bobbi Brown BB Cream

This is my first bb cream, although I tried other samples. Although, there are claims it's not 'real,' I believe what is more significant is how it performs. I have normal/combination skin perhaps a tiny bit on the sensitive side - with hormonal break outs. This bb cream has been very soothing and it does an excellent job of evening out my skin tome. My skin feels so soft and I have no problem layering a bit more coverage where needed. It does dry quick, so I apply it in zones. I like to use moisturizer under it and I do not have trouble with it. I think the SPF is a plus and it has not irritated me. I think Bobbi Brown did an excellent job with this bb cream. I'm so glad I picked it up, and I will definitely re-purchase it. In the winter, I use 3 beige in Bobbi foundation, and 20 beige in Chanel vitalumiere. Summertime, I'm around a 3.5 Bobbi and 30 beige Chanel. I picked up fair and I believe it's just right.

Best BB cream I've tried!

For a BB cream, it has got to the be the best I've ever tried. It offers light to medium coverage. I have really bad dark circles that this BB cream covers it up well. There are days when I just put this on and blend some in under my eyes, set with a little powder and go. I would also recommend Estee Lauder's Daywear BB cream although I do like Bobbi Brown's a little better for the moisturization, coverage, and good staying power with a little powder. My skin: combination to oily. My skin is a little odd in that some foundations and bb creams dry out my forehead and nose area and leave dry patches. This one doesn't. Medium skintone. Acne scars here and there and redness around nose can all be covered up. It gives me just the right amount of coverage without looking cakey and takes no time to blend in at all.

Excellent product

I've tried numerous BB creams. Bobbi Brown's is the best. I first apply a light serum then the BB cream. I apply one area at a time using my fingers. It spreads very smoothly. I don't have any discolorations but I do have one tiny red spot. The BB cream seems to cover it. I apply in the morning and remove in the evening. It still looks great. It feels very natural on my skin and doesn't settle into lines. I especially like the SPF of 35. After applying I gently press some Koh Gen Do Maifanshi UV face powder, SPF 20 on my T zone. I usually wear Bobbi's foundation in Sand 2.5. The light shade works perfectly for me
