In 1870, this Tasmanian brand was founded on the belief that nothing is more beautiful than boots that keep you safe. Since then, Blundstone has provided famously comfortable footwear for generations of cultishly devoted customers.
These boots are simultaneously good looking and sturdy! Tough combo to achieve. They're warm, water resistant, and they'll last me a lifetime. But they're also stylish (Google Blundstone fashion and there are a tons of influencers who have styled them beautifully!).
Difficult to get on and off as the leather loosens up. Would suggest using a shoe horn in the beginning. The tabs don't give you a lot of leverage to put them on.

impossible to put on!
I’m usually a size 5.5 in boots so I purchased a size 6. I couldn’t physically get them on. Might work with stretching and assistance but not worth the trouble.

blunnies
I bought these boots and am obsessed with them! I originally got the black, but found them to just look better in brown (I usually always wear black). I am typically a 7.5 and ordered an 8 based on aus sizing (per blundstones website) I love them and cannot wait for cooler weather to rock them!

cute and supportive, but not a slip-on boot
I usually am either a 7.5 or 8 in most boots and shoes – one foot is closer to 7.5, and the other to 8. I got these in 8.5 and both feet are comfortable. I found that for the first couple of wears these were rather snug on the ankles, but they were fine for walking right away as long as I wore thicker socks (doesn't need to be hiking grade – just not thin like dress socks). These are work to get on and off. Definitely not a slip-on or slip-off shoe. You'll need to use two hands and depending on your balance possibly also sit down. BUT definitely not impossible, at least for my (afaik) fairly average sized feet.
While the more fitted profile requires more work to get on and off, it also feels supportive and the overall look is more feminine. I'm happy to wear these with anything from trash chore clothes to casual skirts/dresses, but the antique brown is definitely a more casual finish. If you want something that can be dressed up even more, the black version of these might be better. I like these so much I'm actually considering getting a second pair in black.

What I was looking for
I have been wanting a pair of Blundstones for a while and was thrilled to find them with this little heel (since I’m only 5’2). I read all the reviews about these being hard to get on and I still purchased them anyway. I had a minor issue getting them on and agree that they are snug around the ankles. You definitely need to use the back pulls/tabs to get them over your heel. I wore them with a thicker sock and it felt nice and cushioned in the shoe. With that being said, I think it’s only fair to reference that I have lean feet and thin ankles (sounds ridiculous but you need context…). I think if you have thicker or fuller ankles and/or feet these will absolutely be a challenge to get on. I’m giving them a 5 star review simply because they totally worked for me and I was able to wear them with zero break-in period.

Great for narrow heels
Perfect everyday boots for rainy winter in the Pacific Northwest. The subtle heel and overall shape makes these look good dressed up or dressed down. True to size, comfy right out of the box, no break-in required. I have no trouble getting these on and off with my regular-width feet and narrow heels. Planning to get these in black as well, in a year or two.
