Feels different but great results
I wasn’t sure about this brush out of the box because it’s hard (no give in the bed of the paddle brush) and heavier, so if you’re used to a paddle brush with some give this will feel clunky and heavy at first. That said, I was REALLY happy with my hair after blow drying with jt. It left my hair shiny and voluminous without as much frizz as my other brushes. FWIW, I have thin hair with a lot of natural wave/frizz that I try to tame.

Disappointed
I purchased this brush to avoid the round shape and volume that usual round brush does on my hair but the effect is still the same even worse cause it's not that easy to use. On thin hair the brush doesn't grip so it's doesnt really straighten them. Not for all hair type I guess....

great for my long, thick hair
I don’t always have time to do a round brush blow dry. This is my go to for smoothing my frizzy, wavy hair, while still getting some volume. It doesn’t give you the horrible frayed hair that I vent brush gives you. I also really like the size for my long hair. Feels premium and is cool aesthetically. Another win for Tangle Teezer!

Tangle Teezer paddle / Smoothing Brush
I have natural afro hair and this brush causes the least damage to my hair brushing ends up. Detangles my hair quickly and can be used in the shower on wet hair or dry hair.

Great product
Super fast delivery. Love my brush. I have really thick curly hair and it glides thru like hot caramel. Doesn’t hurt. Wish I bought one years ago

Smoothing tool

Way too big and heavy
This full-size brush is overwhelming. Feels like something to be used on larger animals ;) It does help to lift the hair, especially for very very thick hair. However, imaging holding the hairdryer and this brush at the same time. The material is pretty hard.
