Frankie Waterproof Chelsea Boot

I BOUGHT A SIZE 7, can’t change it for some reason though. I ordered these in my usual size (6.5) and they were super snug. My big toes didn’t quite reach the end of the boot, but it was close. Mostly, it was the width that felt tight and my pinkie toe (the left only) felt squished, which I’d never experienced before. [Grain of salt: I injured my left leg long ago, so my left foot/toes are more sensitive and likely to get cramped or feel uncomfortable. My right pinkie toe didn’t have a problem.] I tried seeing if I could walk in them, maybe wear two socks and stretch it out, but it was just too uncomfortable. In the end, I exchanged a half size up (7) and it was perfect. There was a little more room around my little toe, but the boots otherwise felt the same above my toes, heels, and ankle area. The fabric ankle is the perfect amount of stiff— strong enough to hold the boot taught around my foot but stretchy to slip my foot inside without a problem. Be warned, these aren’t boots you can easily slip into without using one or both hands. The ankle is high, so you can wear this with long or cropped pants (like in the photos). I love the color, and the suede look which works well with moisture. Once I switched sizes, I didn’t feel like I had to break these in. I just put them on and went. The sole isn’t overly soft and is on the harder side, but I’ve been able to wear them all day without any pain (aside from my own injury). Would recommend for some of the cutest waterproof boots I’ve seen!
