You need these boots!
These are comfortable straight out of the box. The calves are not too wide in regular size and I have skinny legs. Very stylish looking boot and an absolute steal at the sale price. Don't hesitate, try both colors.

Horrible pick up return experience
On December 7 I went into the store to pick up an online order size 10 Blondo Boots.
I returned the item immediately due to the fact that the size is much larger than needed.
The agent at the pick up booth G has advised that the order will be returned immediately and I should get an email advising the return and refund within minutes.. I decided to wait as I did not want to leave the store knowing I do not have anything in writing advising of the return. I waited about 10 mins nothing.
Staff G asked the help of a female staff that said the email will get to me in 3 days. I asked to speak and be helped with this by a manager due to the fact that I wanted the proof of the return before I leave the store.
The manager Ian showed up from the start with an annoyed attitude saying that an email address for the return was never provided. I replied to Ian this is not possible as email was the I my way of me knowing the order has arrived and I can pick up at the store. If the agent that returned today the item did not enter it --- it is not my mistake.
Ian said that this is what he can do, I refused to leave the store without a proof of return, after me insisting Ian went in the back to print the receipt he had on the store device. Came back minutes later and said he can not do it.
I repeated myself that I will not leave without something in writing ( actual receipt) or email that I have returned the item and a refund will eventually happen...annoyed Ian replied " you said that 3 times now.." instead of apologizing he made the situation worse but becoming rude and short patient w an issue that I did not cause as I have the right to have a return proof of an them that is $173!!
He advised he emailed the Nordstrom bank for info and he will send an email on Mon am. He wrote down my email ...that the store had all this time.
The reason of my email to both manager and regional manager is bringing up to your upper management attention the fact that it is illegitimate to not provide proof of purchase or proof of return in any stores.
When I asked for a manager, Ian advised me that he is the highest rank manager of the store. I reached out to headquarters and it happens that Ian is not the manager of the store. He's a service customer service manager which is very different from what he told me repeatedly. When I asked for somebody that is above him, he only advised that I can talk to an assistant manager. When I asked him, aren't they below you? He said Yes. He never told me that there is a store manager and that her name is Kayleigh. Ian advised me that there is no one above him in the store which now I know is a complete lie.
I did bring up to his attention the fact that two agents before him told me incorrect information to which Ian did not care to apologize or react, we were standing right next to the agents so that can hear and none of them contradicted the fact that they did tell me it's going to happen today and the other one told me it's going to happen within 3 days.
Ian did not acknowledge and did not apologize for the misinformation that I was provided by both of the agents by telling me that I should be getting it within minutes or within three business days which was not true.
Also, I absolutely did not appreciate the attitude of of this customer service manager that made absolutely no eye contact and has never once apologized for the inconvenience that that online pickup has caused me and mainly the return of it and the lack of prove that I have not received as advised by your staff in the store.
Instead of deescalating the situation, not only he escalated it more but also made me and my family and friends question any future purchases with Nordstrom rack or Nordstrom itself.
I am no trading expert in customer service training but I have never been treated like that and I have never seen anyone care so little about something that the store owes to the customer. I have returned the item immediately and I have never gotten a proof of the return. I was lied about it, given misinformation, never apologized for the mistake of the store and I was escalated to the point where I have to reach out to headquarters and get actual escalation in order to bring this up to people that should actual listen to what happened..

Calf is huge
I tried these on in store in the brown suede color. The calf on these boots is huge, I have skinny legs but they would be huge on a normal leg. I felt like I was wearing pirate boots. There were at least 3 inches all around my leg. It's a shame because they are actually very comfortable. Not sure why boot companies don't make narrow calf boots but all make wide. There are plenty of women with slim legs who need boots. The quality is nice so if you have a wider calf these could be great for you but anyone with average or below will find them enormous.

Great-looking but runs big
I love the style of this boot, although it does have a zipper and I thought it was a pull-on. I thought the fit was weird. Despite the suggestion in the listing to order up for half sizes, I found it ran big. The 11 was almost 11.5” long, whereas most 11s are 11” long, And my heel came up inside the boot when I tried to take a step. I like the look of it (although I would have preferred it to be narrower in the calf, especially at the top), so I’ll try it in a 10. And let me take this opportunity to say, again, that there is no reason people who wear a large size shouldn’t be offered half sizes like everybody else. Why is 10.5 not offered? Harrumph.

Calf is Wide
These boots are beautiful, however the calf is extremely wide. I have thin legs, but not unusually skinny. I can’t imagine how wide the calf is on the wide calf size. Unfortunately will have to return.

Disappointed!
I have bought Blondo boots for years and have always loved their quality, however these were quite disappointing. I haven't even had them for two weeks and the heels are peeling OFF! Really Blondo - I expect better. The fabric is a gorgeous chocolately brown, and they are very comfortable. Yes, the calf is a little wider than normal, but I was willing to live with that because of how pretty they looked, but the heels are absolute garbage. These boots were WAY too expensive to do this within the first two weeks of owning and wearing them. Very disappointed!!!

shoes are great but received different calf sizes
I was so excited to try them on when they arrived but they actually sent me the left one in regular calf (which i ordered) and the right one with wide calf size. What the heck? Nordstrom needs to do better quality control when shipping things out. The shoes itself look good and comfortable. True to size (for the regular calf i ordered). Will need to return and get the right sizes.
