Bleu Vapor Lotion to Powder Dry Shampoo

I used this two days in a row in place of washing my hair after my hair got to the dirty point where it was visibly flattening and just starting to get greasy. I followed the instructions and focused my dabbing of the lotion with my fingers at hair roots in the front top of my scalp. I rubbed the cream between my fingers of both hands and continued to apply until I hit all the areas that I know normally need sprayed with dry shampoo. I think I took two squeezes of the tube but wanted to see how it worked without overdoing it. I would say in 30 seconds or so my hair looked like it absorbed the oil and regained a little volume when I ran my hands through it. It turned back time. Fairly impressive. First day I didn’t like the fragrance and thought it might cause me to return it. But the second day I actually started to like it and it dissipates after application. Now I feel after two consecutive days of use like the product amount is starting to approach what I would normally feel is in my hair after just one use of regular dry shampoo spray. My husband said he liked the scent though and since it doesn’t annoy me that’s a big positive. Better than having your scalp smell if you can’t get to washing it! The tube came sealed and is in sturdy plastic packaging inside a cardboard box that looks cool with its flat and rectangular shaped lid. I have a lot of experience over the years using using dry powders that “poof” onto strands and aerosolized dry powders like IDK, Stila, Oribe, Philisophy, Bumble and Bumble. I really like how few drawbacks there are for me with this lotion compared to the other forms where the powders felt really concentrated on my scalp and my hair develops much stiffer, rougher straw like texture right away which is harder to make look natural and to wash out. I also like that I don’t have to spray powders in the air and worry about breathing them in. It did not leave a white cast in my hair but each day I didn’t notice a little hardened white spot of lotion several inches down my hair strands in the front my face where I must’ve accidentally wiped it and it dried without being rubbed in. So there’s a little technique involved. Overall I am pretty happy with this direction pollution and I’m excited to keep using it.

Smells like heaven. I bought this mostly out of novelty and was pleasantly surprised. Rub a small amount in my hands and work lightly into roots in areas where I tend to get oily hair. I’ve used this product in a preventive manner as opposed to using after my hair is greasy from being active, so I’m uncertain how if would perform on already very oily hair. I’m so happy to find this spray-alternative as I don’t want to breathe in more dry shampoo aerosols and am tired of white cast messes. This product keeps oil at bay and there’s no powdery mess. And did I mention it smells like Valhalla?
