Dont size up
I kept reading reviews that it didn’t fit people and they had to order a larger size. I went ahead and ordered a bigger size and it was too big. Had to return it for my NORMAL size. I think it’s just a bunch of people thinking they are smaller than they are. Anyway, hopefully there is a spring I’ll get to wear this coat eventually once we’re out of quarantine.

Pockets won’t fit a larger cell phone
While the jacket is very cute and fits nicely, the manufacturer did not put adequately sized pockets in the front to accommodate more than a small cell phone. Anyone with a larger cell phone will find out the height of the pockets are too short. You will not be able to snap the pockets closed. Also note, the hood not removable as many other similar jackets offer this feature. The front zipper is not metal, but plastic. I’m returning the jacket.

edgy and beautiful
I own another Blanc Noir jacket and enjoyed the quality and fit so I was excited about this one. I’m 5”4’ 128 lbs 34-28-37. I tried on XS, S, and M and found size S fit the best. I would not size up as recommended. The material is soft but structured...I know that doesn’t make sense but believe me, it’s beautiful. I love the thumb hole and plenty of pockets. I love that it doesn’t scream camo because the jacket is dark and you see more black. I love this jacket so much and recommended it to another friend. It is definitely a lot more beautiful on than shown online.

Must buy. Stylish and versatile!
I am obsessed with this coat! It’s definitely not a winter jacket but it works well for fall & spring… I live in Seattle and I find it very versatile. However it’s not something you would wear on a snowy winter day. I saw this coat originally on carbon38 and kept coming back to it… Finally purchased the coat when I saw size is starting to run out. Really glad that I did. Very high-quality and it will last for many years if it is taken care of properly. I suppose you could add rain proof spray to make it even more versatile but I’m not sure about that. I love the leather details and the cinched waist parka look! I will definitely look at Blanc Noir products in the future.

A lot of things hanging off this piece
Beautiful and sporty, this Anorak is very stylish. I am giving only 4 stars for a few reasons. First, it runs small. I am between a 2/4 in jeans with my problem area being my hips and in order to zip up this jacket I had to size up to a large. Second, the tassels that hang off the bottom of the jacket are too much. I didn't really notice when I tried on around the house but once I made the finally decision to keep this jacket ($175 needs a very long thought process) my first outing to the grocery store, these swinging tassels got stuck in the meat section grates while I was picking out my grass fed beef. I have decided I am going to have to sew them up into the bottom of the jacket, there is no way I can deal with them forever swinging at my legs. Not really something I want to have to do on a jacket at this price point. Other than that, the look is on point.

2 thumbs up
Such a great jacket! It’s sporty while being flirty and giving great shape. I’m on the petite side and hits a few inches above the knee and best of all I don’t loook like I’m drowning in it! The details are great from the faux leather piping to the metal hardware. I’m so happy winter is here so I can wear it all season long.
