They were very uncomfortable and the soles are hard as a rock. It doesn't feel like they thought to put any cushioning in at all. The real issue though is the buckle. It was literally impossible to put on the smallest setting. It is extremely hard to use and required a good five minutes of fumbling to get the pin into the hole and, after all that, the pin wouldn't fold down at all because the fabric and the mechanism were in the way. It just stood straight up. The fabric that goes through the buckle felt cheap and was already showing signs of wear from fumbling it with it for five minutes. I was frustrated and very disappointed. They feel like a cheap Chinatown knockoff of a designer shoe rather than an actual designer shoe.

I love these shoes especially in the red. I find these shoes quite comfortable and a good value for the price, very well made. I own a lot of designer shoes, and although they are beautiful, they are mostly uncomfortable. With that said, paying 180.00 for these shoes I think I’m getting a good deal. Just my honest opinion. I also find them true to size if you have narrow to medium width feet. I’ve had no issues with sizing in this brand. For reference, I’m usually 36 in Gucci, Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana, Chloe. I usually purchase 36 in louboutins but sometimes/rarely 36.5. Channel is also 36.5 as those do run narrow for my foot.

These are exactly as pictured. But couple things: The TOE BOX IS STUPID NARROW. I have average to narrow feet. I sized up to a 6.5 when I normally wear a size 6 in pumps/sandals. Yes, these are snug. A shoe stretcher would fix this easy. The length is fine if not wee bit too long. Wearing a heel guard fixes that. Going up to a 7 would not of changed the tow box/narrow width if anything they would flop off. The padding..hmm. No, these are not comfortable padded shoes. Bummer there. The buckle I did not find irritating or complicated than any other buckle. Sale price yes. Full price NO> to go to a heel guard, no padding, and a shoe stretch are big asks for any shoe. I do love the way they look and they will work fine after the fact. If the velvet would go on sale would I buy NO. Would I recommend 50/50.
