This scent is meant to be unisex, but it’s more masculine and I just didn’t like it. The dry-down smells really nice, as the more softer notes of patchouli, orchid, and powder really shine and come through…but the opening with the initial spray is like plywood and aftershave. It just didn’t mix with my skin oils or my boyfriend’s in a way that could complement. It’s very strong and lasts literal hours, so if this is a scent that works for you, you’ll definitely get your money’s worth. Entering my vixen era
I’ll start by saying that I don’t think this perfume is for everyone. It’s powerful in its conviction, but I could see how it might be polarizing. On me though, it smells absolutely divine. Like your classic floral’s evil and seductive older sister. It’s giving dark academia/vixen vibes.
On first spritz, it’s heavily orchid with big warm floral notes. The dry down is where it gets interesting. Throughout the day the more complex notes of patchouli and truffle shine through. This LASTS too. One spray in the morning before work and I’ll still be getting compliments at dinner that night.
I know this is supposed to be unisex but in my opinion it leads more femme.
My new signature scent has been unlocked with this perfume. Now, please excuse me while I enter my vixen era.

Fancy scent
I received this product for free from Tom Ford for testing and review purposes. Lasts a good 12 hrs for my 12 hr shift. It smells fantastic. The smell isn't top harsh nor too highly over rated. It's perfect for work or a night out. I use it at last 4 times a week. Big enough bottle to last years. Price is good for the amount you get.

Tom Ford’s Black Orchid Reserve Parfum is a deeper and darker twist on the original scent. This version feels richer and more intense with the original black orchid scent. I love how bold and long lasting this fragrance is. It’s warm, earthy, woody, and luxurious. If you’re a fan of the original Black Orchid but am looking for something richer, this one is worth a try. I think it would be great for nights out and special events.
