Cool idea but heavy
I wish I had paid attention to the weight before I purchased this bag. The bag itself weighs 5 lbs. Not only is that a lot of weight on my shoulder but if an airline limits the weight of a carry on thats 5 lb less clothing etc I can bring. I have the Beis duffle and it weighs 2 lb. I’d love to have the extra hanging feature but I can’t justify the extra weight for travel so unfortunately it goes back.

Perfect for the weekend
Brought this on top of my rolling carryon as my “personal item” and was able to get by with it. It slid fine under the seat (I was flying on an A330) on its backside. However this would severely decrease your leg room if you’re tall (I’m 5’2” so it didn’t effect me). The flight was fairly empty so I was able to just move it in the overhead bin. The “laptop” pouch on the side of the bag barely fits a small tablet (think iPad mini) if you wanted to zip it close. However if you don’t mind the zipper open and your iPad/laptop sticking out, it worked fine for me with my iPad Pro 12”. Honestly, the manufacturing feels pretty cheap and flimsy, especially the zippers) but I can look past that because it really was an excellent bag for my 3 day trip. I fit all my clothes, shoes, and toiletries in the bag by placing them in pouches and then organizing them in the bag’s compartments. There are compression straps to aid in putting as much stuff in this as you can. My hard side carryon was basically empty because I was able to fit everything in the duffle and was just a backup for anything I would have bought on my trip. Only huge gripe about this bag is when you hang it, the bottom compartment can barely hold anything because there’s no support from it dipping down so much. But that was fine because the other compartments expanded and I was able to move everything there. All in all, I really like this bag. Not sure if it would pass for a “personal item” on a smaller jet though…
