zermatt genuine shearling slipper

I love these slippers! I have purchased 4 pairs of them. They are cozy for inside and outside. Perfect for running to the mailbox and back. They are true to size for me. I have a wide foot so they accommodate my feet much better than the womens. Buy a pair. Merry Christmas !

Buy Only If You Hate Money

I've worn Birkenstocks for 30 years. These slippers aren't just the most cheaply made, uncomfortable Birks I've ever purchased, they're the most cheaply made, uncomfortable SHOES I've ever purchased. The area in the toe box where the materials are sewn (glued?) together feels as though the sharp cardboard inserts are still in the shoe. They also have zero meaningful support or cushion. Terrible.

I've worn Birkenstocks for 30 years. These slippers aren't just the most cheaply made, uncomfortable Birks I've ever purchased, they're the most cheaply made, uncomfortable SHOES I've ever purchased. The area in the toe box where the materials are sewn (glued?) together feels as though the sharp cardboard inserts are still in the shoe. They also have zero meaningful support or cushion. Terrible.

Flabbergasted

I was given these as a gift Christmas morning, I started wearing them pretty much right away. I probably wore them 8-10 hours total over the last 4 days. The shearling lining is falling out. In some spots it's already completely bare. I'm hoping that this is just a rare "lemon" as we have 8 pair of various other Birkenstock sandals hat are great, although this is our first Zermatt.

Very Disappointed

So disappointed in the quality of the footbed in these slippers! I have always been a fan of birks and found these slippers to be comfortable but with only two days of wear around the house, the lined footbed is already breaking down and coming apart. I never would have expected this from Birkenstock. I am so saddened to have to return these!!!

Love the boiled wool for comfort.

Not as good as Gerlups with respect to comfort and warmth, but I got tired of replacing those every year when they developed holes and very tired of picking up wool that was always shedding. These are a good compromise. No shedding and reasonably comfortable after a short break-in period - sole is very stiff. Boiled wool is warm, but not hot, and should be odor resistant.
