Great sandal
Love these was worried about straps not going around ankles as mine are large but they did. I see others complained about strap rubbing them, mine did at the ankle buckle but that was solved by crossing straps opposite way then the way I had them and that stooped the rub. Great arch support

Terribly uncomfortable
These are SO cute on. The footbed and toe straps are comfy. But the strap around the ankle.. because of the design, every time I take a step it feels like scissors on my ankle where the strap overlaps and creates a “v”. So bummed. So cute!!

I am an 8.5 and a 38 usually works just fine for me. Received these and though they're PERFECTION they're just way too big. Should have ordered a 37, recommend sizing down. Everything is absolutely fab about these otherwise.

Great fit For high arches and d-width
This is the second pair of black Yara sandals. I love these and they fit great after a break-in period. I have a d-width forefoot (duck shaped feet) with extreme high arches, thin ankles and these are my absolute favorites along with my Myari leather sandals. I ordered a 39 reg but in Birkenstock shoes I always go to a 40. I measure 8-1/2 on the brannock measure.

Amazing!
Love these shoes! This is my second pair of these sandals, and I love them so so SO much!! I got stuck in a rainstorm in my first pair, and without thinking left them in my hot garage to dry out...don’t do that by the way...I could still wear them, but they weren’t the same. I was delighted to find a new pair at Nordstrom! I am a 9 or 9.5 in most shoes, but I wear a 39 in Birkenstocks. They are comfortable and totally adorable. I get compliments all of the time. Would highly recommend!

I love these shoes so much
I can wear these shoes with anything! I'm a big fan of Birkenstock. I have the gizah, mayari and the plastic ones for the beach. These are hands down my favorite. Perfect for sightseeing in Europe. I wore them all day with no blisters. The straps give them added ankle support that my others do not have. Size down a full size. I am normally a 7.5, 8 and I bought a 37 which is a 6.5, 7.

Not the Birkenstocks I love...returned
I expected more.. I own several pairs of Birkenstocks in different styles. These do not have the support and structure I've come to love. They didn't seems as supportive and secure as the miyara or gizah. The ankle strap is awkward and hard to get used to. I returned them although I really wanted to love them... Very stylish.
