Beautiful Color, Narrower than Others
The dove gray is beautiful and I had to adjust buckle to get the toe part to not be uncomfortable. This style of Birk is narrower than other styles I've worn. I have wide feet and it just barely fit.

Squeaky feet
I can't figure out what it is.. definitely a different kind of insole, but my feet squeak in my shoe when I walk. My feet also do not feel as secure as in the traditional leather insole (thus the noise).. and I have to buckle it on the tightest hole, which is also not the same fit as all my other Birks. I notice a noise happening when I wear the EVA styles, but they are plastic so I am not totally surprised. But this is not what is to be expected from a quality leather shoe, IMHO. Still on the fence as to whether I keep these. I have more than a dozen pair of Birks but I need to see what has changed.. maybe this is a big buckle (or colored insole) issue.
