Black and Gold everything!
I love my sandals. I didn’t have to break them in. I normally wear a 10-10.5 and this size fit perfectly. These are my first birks. I love that you can elevate any outfit with these sandals. I recommend them to anyone who asks. They are pricey, but price/quality/longevity the sandals are worth it. I also love that they are very light weight and supportive.

My first pair of Birks are a WIN!!!
I love the classic Birkenstock quality with the amped up shine and gold accessories. They hug my size 9.5 like a dream and are very comfortable. Gorgeous and worth the price!

They look stylish and are comfortable
It is the first time I have bought this brand. I have heard about them a lot, so I decided to try them. I don't know what I was expecting. The pros of these sandals are that they are comfortable and accurate to size and the upper leather looks great. I love the big golden buckles cause they give them a hint of stylish. They are very lightweight, and that makes me wonder if they are genuinely well made, and of good quality, so I guess time will answer that question. So far, I have paired them with ankle jeans and maxi dresses. I haven't developed any bruises so far.

Poor quality - unusual for this brand
Very surprised about the poor quality ...there was visible glue on the cork portion of one of the shoes and it appears that the sole is too large for the shoe. Weird. I am returning and ordering another pair to see if this is a one off. Love the gold big buckle; not a huge fan of the high shine, but willing to give it a try...dressy Birks?! Wish they would make a gold big buckle in a matte black with a traditional footbed...Hello, Birkenstock product development?! :)

ugh, the footbed
i love this style so much, but the black footbed is awful. by the end of the day my feet are stained black! please make this style with the traditional footbed!

Beautiful and they're... Birks???
NYC girl here, I live in heels but wanted something chic and easy to slip into when running to my train or changing out of the heels I don't want to ruin on the sidewalk. These are fantastic! Shiny leather is a serious step up for Birks, upgrade from the hippie crunchy no makeup feel to something that can be easily paired with a cute dress or any summer outfit. Way easier to clean too. The shoe fits exactly like the metallic Birks I bought (and somehow lost) 3 years ago. Still surprisingly supportive and lightweight. The gold oversized buckle is beautiful and adds sophistication. Fun fact... the bottom is the same shiny finish, so your feet won't get dry and dirty like they usually do in Birks. Please make these in shiny white leather, bright colors, I would by several pairs as summer heel back-up shoes. Buy them! I'm a size 7.5, slightly wide foot, I bought the 38.
