very comfortable!
it's a health shoe and very comfortable and they come in beautiful colors!
but i have to say that the recommendation to size down the shoe is not right!
i am german and i know the brand very well!!
you should not touch the edges and the food should sit in the pan! if you for an example a 8.5 you should go for a nine; so actually size up not down ... hope that helps?!

Soft footbed uncomfortable!
I have a pair of Birkenstock as my "house slippers" and wanted a fun pair to wear out and to summer parties. I thought the silver with the soft footbed would be perfect. However, I've learned that the soft footbed is more for narrow feet and not normal/B width. It caused my metatarsalgia to flare up and I can't wear them. I also don't think they have the needed deep heel cup/metatarsal support/toe ridges like the Birko-flor footbed does. I returned them.

Shockingly Obsessed
For many years I've thought Birkenstocks looked masculine and lazy. I'm a huge fan of heels and fancy footwear, who's always been opposed to flip flops and slides. Recently I hurt my foot and was told I should invest in a pair of Birks. Well I caved, and let me tell you, I love them! I ordered the rose gold because they felt a little more feminine and people constantly ask me where I got them. I love them so much I want another pair. Complete 180' and now I'm a believer.

Comfy and versatile
Go with almost anything. Love that I can adjust the straps to fit more snug on my foot. Originally ordered the 8 to 8.5 (EU 39) and had to return for the 9 to 9.5 (EU 40). I usually wear a 8 to 8.5 with heels, sandals, boots, etc. and a 9 with sneakers. In this case, the 9 to 9.5 fit much better, which surprised me.

First pair of Birkenstocks
I never thought I would ever get a pair of Birkies, but I had to when I saw the silver and white ones. They are so cute and comfortable and I love the way my feet look. The only negative is that my husband keeps giving me the peace sign.

I just don't get it
I did my research online before ordering these shoes. I bought them because I thought they'd be great for traveling. You can wear them with almost anything and everyone says they're comfortable. Well, in my case, everyone was wrong. These were a huge waste of money. Whenever I wear them, I can't wait to change my shoes! The suede insoles dry my feet out so badly and the top strap irritates the top of my foot because of my high insole. I know I am in the minority. But just know that these shoes are not for everybody!
