Arizona Genuine Shearling Slide Sandal

After working all day on my feet, I literally couldn’t wait to get home to put these on. Not an exaggeration, “I”thought they were perfect. My first pair, the pink ones I purchased in August 2022. They had a good few months before Burrow the puppy decided pink wasn’t my best color and saved me the grief and embarrassment from wearing them in public by tearing the fuzzy liners from the soles. Though a bit sad, I picked myself up from my despair and opted to replace them with the black ones, February 2023. All was good in my world once again. Cue the ‘Burrow’ Birkenstock Massacre. Our 4 legged destroyer of all things good decided fuzzy Birkenstock’s did not belong in this house and were promptly released from duty, April 2023. Both eaten in half to ensure that I would never risk public humiliation ever again. After explaining my extreme disappointment with him taking such a drastic measure, he looks at me with those sad puppy dog eyes. Then proceeded to look away. It was then I asked myself… Does he even care? I purchased a rubber pair a few weeks ago. So far they’ve avoided the wrath of Burrow the shoe critic, so I assume he approves. I’ll always miss my fuzzy pairs. It was a few wonderful moments of comfort I will never forget.

So I fell in love with these, and they are very cute. BUT the quality does not match the price tag. I wore these once and the sherling is already separating from the base of the shoe. Totally unacceptable, especially for $150 Birkenstock’s.

I love all my Birks! Naturally I use the shearling for fall ,winter and begins of spring in Ohio. It's comfortable, warm and looks good. The only problem is that the shearling started to wear off within a month and went down hill by spring time. I doesn't look good or feel as great as it was in the first month and even hurt my toe in the bottom but they do keep most of my feet warm during the cold months,I prefer use those over any pair of boots ( unless snowing or raining) . Out of my 6 pairs of Birks. THOSE ARE LOVED MORE. I have tried to find shearling insoles but they don't make them. Very disappointing! I am very tempted to get blue and black but stopping myself with the thought of how fast the shearling wears off.

I love these sandals! I love Birkenstocks.. but I’m a little surprise how the lining is wearing. I’ve only had these for less than 3 weeks. I have no intention to sending them back, I’ll use them for around the house.. also, this is a narrow not regular footbed.

Like many people here, I ordered a color which was different on the product details page from what has in fact arrived. Also, my usual Birkenstock size felt small. I have a narrow foot so happy with the narrow width but they also seemed smaller in length. Returned. Would still like this model in a bigger size and different color. Disappointed that Nordstrom doesn’t pay attention to their products detail pages.

I thought these would be the epitome of comfort, I was sadly mistaken. Possibly it was just the pair I received and not all are the same but, the glue that holds down the shearling was placed sloppy and stuck out of the inside sides. So when worn it was sharp and painful to wear. I walked on them for 10 seconds and knew they needed to be returned. Chunks of sharp glue were cutting into my skin. Birkenstocks are my favorite and most comfortable shoe I wear, these did not match up to the level of comfort and quality I expected.
