very stiff leather
The leather is very stiff and not soft on the inside either, unlike the suede Birkenstock options. I am going to wear them with socks around the house to see if they soften up, but I was really expecting more out of the high end exquisite claim and price tag of these Birks.

Chefs kiss
Needed a new pair and saw the wine color in store and had to have them. They fit more snuggly than the soft food bed, but I prefer that as I have a narrow foot. I wear Birks year round and love this color for fall/winter.

Love the look!
I love the look of these but they are somewhat narrow. The outside of my feet hurt after wearing them. I’m hoping they will eventually stretch a little.

Beautiful but run a little small
I always prefer the narrow option, which these are, but length of the footbed is shorter than any of my other Birks and I have worn Arizona sandals for ages. I don’t know if I just got an off pair or if these run a smidge short. They also arrived not in the original Birkenstock box, they were in a generic plain brown box, I might expect that of a final pair of clearance shoes but not a pair of full priced Birks. Returned them and might try again because they are beautiful.
