Lovely scent
This is my favorite new fragrance. I love the sweetness, the depth , and spiciness that this perfume has. It is a beautiful scent that lasts all day. I have received many compliments . I even spray it on my wrist when I go to bed at night so I can smell it while I am reading. It is lovely!

Powdery...
I found this scent to be really...powdery. I wore it for one day and felt like I was wearing old lady perfume and a bunch of baby powder. Byredo doesn't offer sample sizes of their scents, but I had luck with Bal D'Afrique so I read the scent notes and took a shot. I see SO many of you out there love this and I don't want to take away from that. I prefer clean scents with floral notes-subtle.This scent really lingers on you. My husband liked it but no WAY was I going to pay a premium to keep a perfume I dislike. It just is not me. I love most of Byredo's products and scents, but not this one.

warm, cozy, long lasting but not much projection
This is a lovely, warm, close to the skin fragrance. It doesn’t have much projection though. It stays quiet. Like a library. Good scent for cuddling.

Only wear if you don’t mind compliments
I must say that I love it when complete strangers come up to me to ask me what scent I’m wearing.
It happens so often that I’ve made sure I know how to spell “Bibliotheque.”
I’m case you’re wondering if I’m dousing myself, I only use one small spray on the back of my neck, and if I’m feeling bold, one inside the elbow.
This might be pricey but a little goes a long way.

Sexiest perfume ever
This is my favorite perfume I have ever owned. It’s like the sexiest cross between a beautiful sweet floral scent and brand new leather bound books. It’s definitely there and stays with you but still manages to not be overpowering. I get so many compliments on it. Like a crazy amount. All of Byredo’s fragrances are just gorgeous and sophisticated. Wish I could own them all.

dried fruit and leather
i was very excited for this product, i had actually been looking forward to its arrival all week! unfortunately instead of the soft musky leather with delicate fruit notes i was expecting it to be got a very deep, astringent fruity leather. it’s not for me, but i can recognize a great leather scent when i find one, and this definitely fits the bill! it’s a bit too heady and rich for my liking so i didn’t end up keeping it — but if you like deep, dark fruits with warm leather then this is the perfect fragrance for you!
