Bias Cut Maxi Skirt

Everything about this skirt is perfect except for the side zipper. This fabric is too delicate for the zipper chosen and puckers oddly when you wear it. It looked like I had a growth on my hip so I returned it.

Truly so impressed with this skirt, so comfortable and easy to dress up or down. I love where the length ends and can be easily worn in any season.

I have been looking for a satin ivory skirt for the holidays for quite some time and was so excited to find this one at Nordstrom. Upon taking it home and trying it on was super disappointed to find that the side zipper puckered out and could not be flattened. Need to return so sad.

35-27-37, 136lbs here and size small was too big on me. Seems ok for the price, wasn’t too wrinkled upon arrival. The thing I didn’t like is that it had an elastic band AND a zipper. Like why both? The zipper is noticeable when you move only bc of that elastic band.

The zipper ruins this skirt because there is no way to stop it from bunching up because it's not sewn down. The material is great, the weight is good, it's silky and thick enough so you don't feel like you're wearing a slip, but not thick enough to stop the zipper from curling. It wouldn't be so bad if it were in the back but it looks bad because it bunches up on the side. I notice that all the pictures of the model on the site have their arm against the left side of the skirt and I know why because if they showed you the left side of the skirt you would see the curling bumps in the zipper which each bunch sticks out a good inch. I have three waves down the length of the zipper. I may be able to turn it to the back so it's not so noticeable but it's flawed.

The skirt fit perfectly but I couldn't get over that it looked to much like a slip I would wear under a skirt. It's probably an age thing, but if you have a smaller type waist, flat tummy and round hips, this skirt will fit you. It's made for an hour glass shaped body.
