Excellent well made dress

Made in the USA! I'm looking for a Mother of The Bride dress for a November wedding. This may be the winner, but I'm still keeping an eye out for something with sleeves. The dress is simple but flattering. The fabric is thick and has give, so unlike other reviews, I did not feel the need to size up. I tried both my size and the larger size and my size fit much better in the hips and also the length of the bodice. The slit is above my knee but the ruffle covers it and it really does not hang open as it does in the photo. The green is lovely deep green (not an easy color to find). The dress makes my middle aged body (not much of a waistline) have curves. Just try it. I wasn't expecting to like it so much!

Not my favorite Nordstrom dress...

I ordered this dress for a gala. It was a tighter fit than expected and the seams did not appear well-made.

Beautiful dress

Love this staple black dress. I will wear to a gala this next weekend and it is just the right amount of class and no cleavage (so important for some of us!) for an appearance for my company. I have an hourglass figure (36 DDD- 32- 38) and this dress hugs you at all the right places, modest but the thigh high slit is a fun and flirty addition. The dress moves well when walking and will not need to be altered for length when I am wearing 3” heels.

Great dress

Loved this dress! I’m 5’8” and weigh 140. I ordered the 6, which was a perfect fit. If you’re any shorter than that, you’d have to hem it.

Very Flattering

Thick material, very flattering, especially around the midsection. I'm 5'4, 145 lbs and carry my weight in my midsection/hips. The size 8 fit perfectly, without need for alterations.

Gorgeous color flattering fit

I ordered this dress for my son’s wedding fully expecting I’d probably return it but when I tried it on I loved it. Very flattering and comfortable for my pear-shape. I wasn’t sure if I’d be an 8 or 10 - got the 10 and it fits perfectly with a little room to spare. I love the Pine color, it’s different from Forest green and will be lovely for a Fall wedding.
