Great for size 14!
I LOVE this dress! It's perfect for work and I'm planning to wear it to a rehearsal dinner in a few weeks. When I wore it to work last week I got a TON of compliments! It fits nicely to define my waist and slides right over my (slightly-chubby) middle without drawing unnecessary attention. #obsessed #needmoredressesthisstyle

Very Disappointing
I am 5' 5" and 118 pounds. The size 2 doesn't hug anywhere flattering on me and between its boxy fit and garish print, I look enormous in it--and I am NOT enormous. Plus the fabric feels like 1970's polyester. And the cap sleeves pouf out in a weird clownish way. Dreadful

Pattern placement is key!
I am so surprised by how much I like this dress. I first saw it online and thought it looked like a cheesy Hawaiian shirt, but then I stumbled upon in in a Nordstrom store one day and I couldn't believe how beautiful it was in person. It just doesn't photograph well.
Also, I agree with the other reviewer that the pattern placement in this dress is key. Believe it or not, I re-ordered this dress a couple of times so that I could pick the one with the best pattern placement. In one, the flowers were all bunched in my midsection. In another, the florals were a chopped in weird places and the dress looked imbalanced. Suddenly, in dress #3 the patterns were where they ought to have been all along and I LOOKED INSTANTLY TEN POUNDS THINNER! I found the winner-- but it took some energy.
Finally, yes, this is made of that awful scuba material that seems to be everywhere lately, but this is one of the softest and lightest weight scuba fabrics I've felt, so it seems to be okay in this instance... but I still hope scuba fabric will be a short-lived trend.

Perfection.
Love, love, love this dress! Those who don't like the material aren't keen on the scuba trend. This dress is perfection. I pair it with a thin gold belt, and receive multiple complements every time I wear it! I actually wash this at home in cold water. And hang to dry. I'm 5'8", 155lbs, 28" waist, and I bought a size 8.

Love it!
This dress arrived today. I'm 5’6" and weigh 135. Size 8 fits perfectly. I like that it covers my knees and the waist is in the right place. The dress could not fit any better!
The dress is perfect for spring and summer. Fabric and full lining are polyester, but the label says dry clean only. I may hand wash it when the time comes. The back zipper allows for easy in and out.
This is a five-star dress!

Betsy Johnson hits a home run
Perfect size fit, comfortable and stylish. The fabric is giving and soft. This dress can transition from night to day by adding a simple blazer. My favorite purchase yet!
