Short Suede & Leather Jacket

I anxiously awaited my delivery of this jacket. It was exactly what I wanted in design and I am familiar with the brand for many, many years. The large was sold out and I settled for the XL which swam on me. Yes, it is a boxy cut but that is the style. I looked like the jacket was wearing me, with me lost somewhere in its cut. The sleeve length was ok, but the body was really big. In a large, I could easily wear a heavy sweater under it for the cool months, but the XL is for a bigger person. It is truly difficult to buy online - you know what you like, but, the sizing is what is equally important. Unfortunately, it seems this wonderful jacket is sold out now. The leather is soft as is the suede. Please, order this beautiful jacket one size down and also, Nordstrom, please, please, please, get some more in stock in other sizes. Too beautiful to be too big. I normally wear a large or a medium, mainly get the large in outerwear for layering and true comfort.

Let me start by saying this jacket is stunning. It was everything I was looking for and genuinely a beautiful forever piece. However, it’s a true boxy fit. While the large was perfect through the body, the shoulders and sleeves were simply too big/long. I felt if I had sized down it would have fit better in the shoulders but would’ve been too tight in the chest. Overall, incredible quality but odd proportions.
