Bernardo Kennedy Platform Wedge Sandal (Women)

I just opened these literally ten minutes ago and came to review immediately. I’ve been desperately searching for a new summer-dressy cork wedge in this color for a while now (to replace my beloved and ancient slingback Kork-Ease), and I hesitantly ordered these in a 7 (typically 6.5-7 for me). I say ‘hesitantly’ because I have scarred ankles seem to swell at the mention of ankle straps, and that is the style this year. These were winners right out of the box! Perfect fit, cushy insole, the strap sits more so across the top of the foot instead of “ring around the ankle” and the circle thing sits well below and forward from the ankle bone. The strap position is really quite flattering and comfortable. I’m thrilled with the look and quality of these and can’t wait to see how the beautiful leather weathers over time.
