I purchased this coat because I liked the zippers on both sides of the bottom of the coat. I bought the M & L for fit. The L was too large in the wrists & the coat overall. The silhouette of the M was a slimmer fit overall but something about the bib fit was off. In addition to the missing side zips, I returned the coats. I’m generally a size M/L in tops/L in coats. Size 10 pants & dress.

This coat was bot as shown in the photos. I believe photos have since been updated. Photos showed two asymmetrical zippers from about the models hand to the bottom of the coat (but positioned on both sides). I thought that was pretty unique and would give walking room. Those zips were not on the product I received.

Held up in snow
I was surprised with how warm it was because it’s not a heavy coat. I was disappointed about the zippers not being on the jacket but I highly recommend. I got the the first snow fall in NYC and didn’t feel cold at all.

Did I get the wrong coat or a knock off?!
1st & foremost the coat is chic & gorgeous on and soooo warm! This can go from day to evening easily this winter. HOWEVER, you may overheat due to a few things missing from the coat, like the 2way zipper shown in pictures and the missing the side zipper on either side of the bottom of the coat for venting or ease of mobility, also . Oddly, this is not listed in the written description. I generally betwen 12/14 and I sized down per the one review and got the large. Fit was perfect with room for sweater, not bulky. I wish it was as advertised in images as I thought this was a knock off. This brands' advertising feels a bit deceiving and confusing. I was going to use t his as a main coat to commute and run errands and by evening to dinner & or the theater. I run around in NYC, going fromcar to subway (sit down/stand up) and walking several blocks averaging 7k to 9k steps when not workng from home And a girl needs to stay warm & transition from point A to B to C and not overheat. Ease of movement is essential, rather than having to zip and unzip an entire coat at every turn, is ridiculous nowadays. Nordstrom customer service said they would try and get the right coat when I return it and re-order. Fingers crossed but I will still look for my old brand, although more expensive. Sorry. for the typos!
