Belted Long Vest

I've several coats from this brand that I bought directly from its website. Bernardo is known for its high-quality coats, and it has never disappointed me. My issue with this purchase, however, lies with Nordstrom's handling department. The item I received was clearly returned by a previous customer who had worn it multiple times. It arrived with long blonde hair strands all over and emitted an overwhelming perfume scent. The smell was so strong that I had to step back as soon as I opened the box. It's hard to believe that the person handling and packing this item didn't notice these issues. This kind of oversight reflects poorly on the company's customer service. I've never encountered such a problem with Nordstrom before and am unsure which store this item came from, but this experience was deeply disappointing. I considered returning the coat immediately. Unfortunately, it was sold out in my size, and Bernardo's website no longer carried it. Since I love the item, I decided to take it to a cleaning service so I could keep it. This situation should never have occurred, and it's disheartening to see such a decline in customer service quality.
