Belted Wool Wrap Coat

The item arrived looking worn, wrinkled, and as if it had been slept in. I didn’t even try it on and returned it the very next day. I was genuinely excited to receive this coat, as I’ve been searching for a black oversized coat for quite some time. I went to the Old Orchard Mall location the day after it arrived to return it. Unfortunately, the salesperson accused me of wearing, washing, and even changing the tag. I explained that this was exactly how the coat arrived and the reason I was returning it. I found the accusation upsetting and unprofessional. For a $375 item, I expect to receive a brand-new product in pristine condition. Due to this experience, I will not be ordering expensive items from Nordstrom online in the future. After returning the coat, I purchased the Slouch Coat from Aritzia, which is a similar style at the same price point—and absolutely worth every penny.
