Belted Low Rise Straight Leg Jeans

Not sure why the Nordstrom app is showing the sizing for these jeans like “2-14”, because the jeans are actually a size 24. I’m not familiar with Cotton On products, so this was my first purchase. I love the design of these jeans. They are so cute, especially with the belted detail. However, the way they’re constructed in the back definitely disappoints me… the back of the waist does not sit flush with my body at all. It’s like 3 inches away. I’m normally a size 24 in jeans, and it’s usually a waist measurement. Because these sit so low (on the hip bones), I was expecting a pretty decent fit. I’m going to try to be as helpful as possible, so I’ll include my waist and hip measurements: Height: 5’1 Body shape: ⌛️ Weight: 100-105 lbs Bra size: 32B Waist: 24 in Hips at hip bone: 32 in Seat: 36 in You can see in my photos that it’s not that they need to be taken in. The amount of material on the waist is fine. It’s that they just weren’t sewn in such a way to follow the curves of a body! So, I don’t even know if that’s something a tailor can “fix.” I also included two photos so you can see the length on a petite height. Classic “nice design, poor execution”. I’ll be returning these cute jeans. 💔
