Not highwaisted
I didn't feel these were high enough. Cut me off at mid waist which isn't helpful postpartum. I returned them.

comfortable
I have tried all the biker short looking garments - and cannot find one that does not roll down when you sit down.
overall this one is quite comfortable - the legs do not roll up -so that's a plus .. but as soon as I sit down, the high waist rolled down.
I ordered a large ( usual size 12) but could go down to a medium. I do not think going down a size will solve the rolling problem. If you are going to stand and just walk around this would work for you.

Love belly bandit products. These did their job. Only thing I didn’t like was that the bottom is unhemmed and rolls up.
