Nice Fabric, Cheaply Made
I took off two stars on this duvet cover because the ties on the inside are beyond cheap: only 3 inches long if that, impossible to tie a bow with, only a knot that is then impossible to unknot. I had to sewn new, longer, better ties on. For people who do not sew, this could be a major inconvenience. Would it have killed ya'll to put decent, FOUR inch ties on the inside? Also the seams are cheaply serged & the thread used has some synthetic content that already, after ONE wash, has begun to pill away from the cotton part of the thread. The fabric used is very nice though. I also have the BedThreads fitted sheet & it gets softer & more luxurious with every wash. It is excellent because the fabric holds up to Kitty's midnight clawing. It is not cheaply sewn like this duvet cover. For $350 bucks? I expect French seams & ties you can actually TIE!!!
