Founded in L.A. in 1995 but inspired by the Brooklyn streets, Bed Stu handcrafts shoes and boots for women and men. The brand uses traditional shoemaking techniques like hand-weaving and hand-sewing, as well as natural leathers (from free-range animals when possible) and a vegetable-based tanning process, so each shoe is unique and imperfect but always genuine.

The sandals are so wide and large. My foot was flopping around and I very much wanted to love them. I typically wear a medium width, they are both too long and unbelievably WIDE

Gorgeous sandal. Holds up well.
Gorgeous sandal. Holds up well. A little too wide for my foot - so my foot moves side to side. I wish it came a little tighter across the foot - cause leather stretches a little over time. I have to be very careful walking in these. I still love the look and get tons of compliments - just cannot walk around town in them.
