Outstanding Brushes for Great Value
I bought the soft kabuki and the highlighter brushes. Outstanding brushes and terrific value. No shedding. Typically purchase Bobbi Brown brushes. These are just as good. Highly recommend.

Too soft!
Wonderful for loose powders and I bought mine to use with the becca setting powder and that works fine but you can’t use it with powder foundations. It’s just too flimsy! Better brushes out there but it is reasonably cheap

Nice for loose powder ra5her than powder foundations
Nice and soft, big and fluffy. I find it much better for loose powders though,, which through their nature require a really light touch. I was hoping it would be good for powder foundation though, which it isn’t so I was a bit disappointed. Nice quality for the money though.

Too soft
I bought this brush based on the 5 start reviews. This is my only Kabuki brush. I got this for using with powder foundation. I love how soft this brush is, but that’s also a flaw for me. It’s too soft. So soft I find it deposits a lot of product in one place and doesn’t blend out easily. I used this for some liquid foundation and it worked a lot better. I managed to get a very sheer finish and it doesn’t suck up product. I won’t be using this for powder foundation. For me it’s better for loose powder using the swirl and flick technique and a light hand brushing it over the face or for a light application of liquid foundation. I wanted to love this, but I just don’t find it as versatile as I’d hoped. It appears cheap but that’s in comparison to other brushes at Spacek NK. But in terms of what else is on the market for a Kabuki brush (that should be versatile), given its lack of blending ability and the heavy depositing of product on initial application, it’s expensive for what it does - and can’t do.
