Was pleasantly surprised! I'd say this is true to size (I got the large). Not sure why some reviewers were surprised that a cover-up, labeled as a cover-up, fit like, shocker... a cover-up! It's definitely too short to be an everyday dress, but it covers my bum entirely (and I am tall). I would feel comfortable walking around in this at the pool or beach with my swim suit underneath. I am curvier on bottom, so the large is a little big on top, but fits well on bottom. It's a super soft material and a pretty shade of purple. A great vacation piece!
