Flutter Sleeve Tiered Cotton Gauze Midi Dress

I was envisioning a soft, floaty gauze dress from the pictures and fabric description, but the fabric was surprisingly stiff in person. It felt like it had a coating on it, like something that had been washed in hard water or something. Very odd. It also ran quite large, I could have size down twice. And, I can tell you that while I ordered the Rain Dreams (light blue) color, I was sent the orange color. It's a nice, bright peachy orange tone, but based on the fabric and fit, I decided to return rather than risk getting an orange one with a re-order or exchange. Overall, a bit meh for the price.

I have never seen this brand before, but the style is so cute. I ordered a couple of their dresses and they all run extremely large. I really don’t understand why. I’m debating on whether it’s worth keeping and paying alteration fees to make their clothing fit. Please make your dresses smaller! :)

I ordered a small and medium in the coral but was sent the blue dress. I loved the blue color so I kept it and the small fit better, I normally wear a medium. I had Nordstrom alter it for me and she had some great ideas to make it fit perfect and made the ruffled straps stick up a little and it’s perfect for a beach wedding I’m going to in Hawaii.

I ordered the color rain dreams 3 times and returned 3 times because I kept getting the coral color. I ordered XL and the L and found the large fit nicer. I usually wear a L/XL. The fabric was not stiff, maybe from manufacturing sizing but once you wash it, it would be the perfect summer dress. I hope they fix the ordering glitch because I would really like the blue!
