Safety concern hard surface
The concept of changing from bassinet to crib is nice, but unfortunately, on the crib possible for a child to hurt themselves due to the fact that the wood framing is right next to the mattress. My child who is standing, bumped her head on the wood rail on the side of the mattress there’s no Safety bump or padded protection for their head.

Nightmare assembling
I ordered the crib with the expansion set at the same time because i needed the big crib right away and assembling them simultaneously was an absolute nightmare. The directions are hard to decipher and wrapping my head around looking at both sets of directions at once was a real pain. Also, the permanently inset female threads to screw the wood board down are poorly made and the hardware threads in crooked unless you get it absolutely perfect, the screw heads strip out very easily with the Alan key also. I felt like i was assembling an IKEA item
