Cute but large
Not sure why this is marked as running small, it actually runs quite large. I’m usually a 26” in mid rise pants and bought my normal size, but it’s so large that even if I sized down to a 25” it likely would be a little loose. The flat across waist measurement is 14” which would make these 28” around! (I’ve also compared the sizing with a pair of jeans that are a true to size 26”)

Nice jeans, but fit recommendation was incorrect
I read the fit recommendation that said these jeans run small, order one size up so I ordered a 27 because my usual size is a 26. The 27 is too big so I will reorder in my usual size 26 to see if those work
